Los espacios de creación artesanal: el caso de los talleres de alfareros tonaltecas en México.

This work aims to reflect upon the creation and production in a crafting space in a community of artisans dedicated to the ceramics in a locality known as Tonalá, Jalisco / Mexico. Some questions will guide the text: how to organize the artisans in their workshops at home? How to deal with the difficulties and what are the alternatives at the time they are producing their crafts? How are thought and how they are used so-called craft workshops in this community? The result of a wider fieldwork, the present study is characterized as ethnographic, where observations and interviews took place with three families of tonaltecas craftsmen. The intention is to analyze the photographs were taken over a year of research in the locality, and then, to systematize the content analysis of such images as a way to understand critically the value that the families concerned at the time they organize themselves in the workshops.
