La experiencia de la TV Serrana en la construcción de un documental con sentido.

The current article reflects around the possibilities that audiovisual technologies offer in the cross knowledge between cultures. Through the video a meeting place is made possible between unknown communities and through the use of the image the particular manners of life are showcased. Thus, the so called " Video Letter " receives a significant value because it is built and shared to generate new forms of understanding in relation to the diverse cultural realities. This methodology of work has been adapted and used by the indigenous communities through a training with the Cuban audiovisual facilitators. Likewise, the processes of collective creation of projects and scripts, done between the producers and the peasants in a participative manner, are one of the fundamental values of this methodology of community work.
