El video indígena, un proyecto de vida, una ideología, una actitud política.

As a result of a cultural work begins the fight for the indigenous rights in Oaxaca, Mexico. As part of the work methodologies, the audiovisual is incorporated as a way of cultural promotion, particularly the video. At the beginning, it was used to register the multiple activities carried out, nevertheless, with time it started acquiring more importance to the point of being used as cultural and political purposes. The example derived from the great march of Ecuador in 1992 was understood as a great possibility for visibility of the indigenous struggles through the video as a tool to the service of the indigenous communities. Likewise, the revolutionary movement of the Ejercito Zapatista de Liberación Nacional (EZLN) notably influenced the political struggle in Mexico. Through this, the conviction of being a multi-national country is reinforced, giving importance to the discourses and voices from the indigenous communities.
