Escuela Internacional de Cine de San Antonio de los Baños, una experiencia de colaboración con el video indígena de Latinoamérica.

The following article reflect around the training labor developed at the Escuela Internacional de Cine San Antonio de los Baños where world youth, especially from Latin America, take part. Their philosophy of work is tied to the experimentation, which implies learning by doing. The plan of study of the school includes diverse courses as direction, theater workshop, aesthetics of image, and ethics of the documentary, amongst many other theoretical and practical courses that help forming the student body. As part of the school’s formation there are audiovisual workshops training for indigenous communities, something that emerged from the collaboration with CLACPI and since 2004 it consolidated itself through a prize to the best opera prima exhibited in the international film and video festivals for indigenous people.
