Una Etnografía Visual en las Cordilleras del Alto Río Claro.

The present visual ethnography corresponds to the re-construction of an ethnography interrupted by the weight [step] of history. The texts and images were obtained in the spring of 1989, during a stay of two weeks among the inhabitants of the Andean mountain ranges maulinas, in the highlands of the Claro River, during the development of a research on the production of coal in the area.

The present visual ethnography is re-visitation to the experience already recorded in the ethnographer’s notebook. It is to have another format, other words and another sense the scars left by ethnographic work. It is certainly the installation of a spell.
