The imaginary representation, the sensible data and the games of the memory: the challenges of the field of a sound ethnography.

This paper approaches the results of anthropological research developed in Bank of Images and Visual Effects about the production of ethnographic sound collections as part of the research with collective memory, the urban everyday life, forms of sociabilities and urban itineraries in the city modern-contemporary, in particular in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil.
