Photographing the Cooperative, mark the spaces. Collaborative research experiences with neighbors of Cooperative AR.PE.BO.CH., Córdoba (Argentina).
In this article we aim to expose some of the experiences gathered from our recent investigation on the sense of 'neighbourhood' between the members of Cooperative AR.PE.BO.CH., in Cordoba, Argentina. In particular, we examine the diverse meanings that arise around common areas, taking into account the internal disputes and the games of local political power. In this article we also analyze the use of photography as an ethnographic tool, as well as the instance of “taking a photograph” as a significant opportunity to crystallize the many forms in which those common areas are classified. We present some of the results that allow us to move forward with the analysis of the expansion and delimitation of urban areas and, within the field of Anthropology, with some of the contributions that visual dimensions have in experiences of investigation.
