The limits of representation in the Cauca indigenous audiovisual.
The article discusses the videographic tradition of the Nasa people in the Andean southwestern Colombia. In an analytical and interpretive exercise of a reduced set of works, the author formally examines the portfolio with an eye on issues of politics, ethics and aesthetics of audiovisual products, and motivations and social and cultural contexts in which they are embedded building practices represent subjects from within the world of ethnic identities and ethnic movements in Colombia, which have been called film and video of indigenous peoples, in sharp reaction to indigenous cinema "cinema of the other".
