Contributions of the applied visual anthropology to the collective construction of social and political memories in the Chilean postdictatorship.
We present reflections emerged around inputs of Visual Anthropology Applied to Historical, Social and Polítical Memory construction process by members of the Agrupación Metropolitana de Ex Presas y Presos Políticos. We follow the developement of a shared (participative) methodology, among the institutional active oblivion of the past, where the joint venture between the civil society (the Agrupacion) and the academic institution (Archivo Etnográfico Audiovisual, Universidad de Chile) searching for the rescue, preservation and visualisation of other Memories, non officials, about the military coup and the political repression during the dictatorship.
