The following article raises, at first, a review of the acquisition of audiovisual media by the indigenous people of Latin America, who later developed the "indigenous video". To further analysis the indigenous Mapuche video through the presence and use of the stereotype of "nature" previously built by chilean audiovisual, in order to see if there exist any link between the stereotypes used by the documentary in general and those of Indians authorship.
