Throughout the history of the city of Santiago de Chile, there have been a number of planes that have been raised in terms of political motivation, religious, military, cultural, economic and social. From this premise, we have tried to unravel what are the underlying imaginary from these representations, and how the old neighborhood of La Chimba in each. On the other hand, is considered a final reflection that encourages us to use methodological tools arising from the imaginary inimical "power" and create a look "from below" to the construction of the city and urban social life.
