Image, comic and anthropology.
The idea of this article is to approach the subject of the image through the comic book, as a new form of communication that presents values and ideas through stereotyped characters. In this new form of communication, characteristic of the industrial society, the image displaces the text configuring itself as a communicative medium where the information is direct and immediate and where the visible is configured as the real. In this context a series of concepts are used that have been generated to explore the world of comics and the particularity of their iconography.
