Ethnographic image as a search for identity in urban public space.
The Paseo Ahumada, in the center of Santiago, is a place hyper photographed. Cameramen and photographers, both independent and belonging to some institution, become an actor in this pedestrian path. Their presence is assumed as part of everyday life and no longer awakens the surprise that would wake up in another type of public space.
