Video nas aldeias, a cultural proposal of seduction.
In 1986, from the Centro de Trabajo Indigenista (CTI), the project Video nas Aldeias (VNA) is born. Its principal aim is the development of communication, specifically the indigenous video. With other countries that were leading the processes of indigenous communication, such as Bolivia and Mexico, CLACPI integrates VNA to prepare an international re-articulation. Nevertheless, the internal processes are highly demanding because the indigenous groups of Brazil are a diversified minority. This implies an arduous and time-demanding work. Never the less, this has not been an impediment to Brazilian indigenous filmmakers and communicators to take part in the formative processes of CLACPI as well as the festivals. This type of experiences have been fundamental to learn about other realities and other ways of making and developing the Indigenous Video.
