The current article accounts the approximation processes to CLACPI by whom would be the first indigenous woman directing the general coordination of this organization, in three consecutive periods: 2008-2015. Starting in, 1992 CLACPI suffers important changes, fortifying and conducting itself in the direction where cinema, video and the indigenous communication configures itself as part of a political process. Thus, the indigenous have began controlling their own image constructing the messages that they want and need to project, with the participation of external collaborators, as well as from organizations that are a part of the movement of communication. This tie with other indigenous and not indigenous organizations has built an international network that seeks for visibility of the indigenous reality, their struggles and needs.
